Gomes gets ready for the Champions League

Brazilian goalkeeper Gomes keeps training hard at Tottenham for the 2010-2011 season. The team will play their first match on Saturday 14th August against Manchester City at home.

‘We are training hard and the athletes whose teams are playing in friendly games will return on Thursday so we will have two days for the final practice with the whole team. We are focussed and ready to make a great start in the championship’.

Today, 11th August, Spurs team are off. In the last season Tottenham ended the championship in fourth place with a total of 70 points and they got a slot in the Champions League.
