Along with Tottenham, Gomes starts to get ready to face Fulham
4/Mar/2010 –
Tottenham, which count on the Brazilian goalkeeper Gomes, trained in one period of the day today 4th March.
The team, whose line-up is not yet complete because of the friendly matches that took place yesterday 3rd March, are getting ready to face Fulham on Saturday 6th March in the English Cup quarter-finals.
Gomes is on standby and he expects the match will be balanced.
‘Tomorrow we may have the full line-up for training as well as for making the final adjustments. We’ve been doing well as we got a good result in the league. We know that this match won’t be easy as the opposing team counts on a quality line-up. However we’re motivated and we’ll do our best’, says Gomes.
The other quarter-final matches will be the following: Portsmouth vs Birmingham; Reading vs Aston Villa and Chelsea vs Stoke City.
The champion will achieve a slot in the European League.
