After playing away, Tottenham, which count on the Brazilian goalkeeper Gomes, tied today 6th March with Fulham nil-nil in the away match in the English Cup quarter-finals.

‘The match was hard and balanced like we’d expected as the opposing team get very strong while playing at home. We sought goals at all times. We had a lot of chances and we stood their pressure. We’ll have to work hard at home for and during the next match and hope we’ll achieve the slot’, says Gomes.

Portsmouth beat Birmingham by two goals to nil today March 6th in another quarter-final match. Tomorrow March 7th Reading will play against Aston Villa and Chelsea will play against Stoke City.
