Tottenham’s Gomes went through tests on his right shoulder this Wednesday 27th January because the goalkeeper had sharp pains in this area during the game against Fulham last Tuesday.

The goalkeeper has bursitis and he has started treatment and muscular strength exercises.

‘I’ll carry on with the treatment and I’ll be available for the game. This will be another tough game and the team know how important it is to achieve a positive score. We are confident and motivated for we have been able to win the last round’, said Gomes. He trained with the team this Thursday morning 28th January.

Tottenham now has a total of 41 points and it is in 4th place in the English Championship. Tottenham’s next challenge will be Birmingham on Saturday 30th January out of home.
